Tennessee Baseball Camp UT Baseball Youth Winter Camp

Description

This two day camp will provide an opportunity for the UT Baseball Staff to teach all in attendance, the fundamentals used by the UT Volunteer Baseball Players. The University of Tennessee Baseball Staff, current players, former players, and college coaches from all around the southeast region will be on hand to teach. Skills taught include mental game strategies, conditioning, hitting, and fielding drills to help take your game to the next level. Many of these drills are used on a daily basis by the Volunteer baseball players. This will be an extremely informative and fun filled camp for players of all ages and playing levels. All of these drills are taught with the idea that they be practiced at home by themselves or with a partner.

All but $100 will be refunded if you cancel (via e-mail) by 9pm the night before camp. No refunds are possible after that.

Food/Drink

Water will be provided. We encourage attendees to bring a sports drink, snack or meal. We will provide a nutrition break during the camp, but we will not be providing food for the Winter Camp.

Check In

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Lobby at Brenda Lawson Center, located on the corner of Lake Loudon and Chamique Holdsclaw. Once checked in we will direct players and parents to the practice facility.

Parking

Parking is free on the street and is first come, first serve. Anyone parking in one of the lots close to Lindsey Nelson Stadium will need to purchase a pass at Parking and Transit Services at 2121 Stephenson Drive. What to bring
Please bring the following items:
  • Bat
  • Glove
  • Batting Gloves
  • Helmet
  • Shirt
  • Pants
  • Cleats and Athletic Shoes
  • Belt
  • Socks

Please wear closed toed shoes.

Note: The University may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts or war, acts of God, or public health emergencies. Neither party shall be liable for damages for delay or default if such delay or default is caused by circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or health emergencies. The Parties will consult with other to determine if the event can be rescheduled. -- It is not permissible for boosters to provide expenses for individuals to attend any of the Tennessee Sports Camps. Expenses include but are not limited to, lodging meals, transportation, and/or camp tuition.
