Dave Parrington Diving Coach
Tennessee Diving Coach Dave Parrington, a successful athlete on both the collegiate and international levels, has translated that athletic excellence into a high degree of proficiency in the coaching ranks. Parrington has received countless honors on every level in the diving community during his 28 years coaching the University of Tennessee divers.
His wealth of experience and teaching ability is displayed in the successes of his athletes with divers excelling at the conference, national and international levels year in, year out.
The Harare, Zimbabwe, native owns an impressive resume. The SEC coaches have voted Parrington the Men's Diving Coach of the Year ten times, most recently this year, (1994, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2018) and the Women's Coach of the Year four times (1997, 2003, 2012, 2013). In 2013 he was named the NCAA Women's National Coach of the Year. Since arriving on The Hill, Parrington has produced eight NCAA champions and 41 SEC champions. Additionally he has coached one World Champion and nine USA Diving National champions.
2015-16 was outstanding as Mauricio Robles won both the one and three meter at the SEC Championships won the 1-meter and 3-meter titles and freshman Rachel Rubadue took the women's platform. Liam Stone won the Men's one meter at the NCAA Championships and was 9th on 3 meter. Robles was named the SEC Diver of the Year, Rubadue the SEC Women's Freshman Diver of the year and Coach Parrington the SEC Men's Coach of the Year for the 9th time.
During the 2016-17 season Liam Stone won the SEC 1 meter title and placed 4th at the NCAA Championships and was named SEC Diver of the Year. Most recently in the 2017-18 collegiate season, Tennessee's Colin Zeng took Gold at the 2018 NCAA Championships on platform, 2nd on 3 meter and 4th on 1 meter, all of which earned him the title of NCAA Men's Diver of the Year and SEC Men's Diver of the Year. Additionally he was the USA Diving 2017 Winter Nationals Platform Gold medalist!

Mike Wright 5th Year Camp Assistant Coach
Mike Wright joined the Tennessee Diving Camp staff after an outstanding diving career at the University of Tennessee. During his time at Tennessee Mike was the 2010 USA Diving 1 meter National Champion, the 2011 SEC 1 meter Champion, a 2011 NCAA All America on 1 meter and a 2012 USA Diving Olympic trials three meter finalist. Since retiring from competitive diving Mike has been serving as the Head Coach to the Tennessee Diving age group team, with whom he has produced numerous two USA Diving Junior National Champions, two Junior Pan American Diving Gold medalists and numerous National Championship finalists, in addition to placing 7 graduating seniors this year and last year in NCAA Division one diving programs. He served for two years as the University of Tennessee Volunteer Assistant Coach.
