Tennessee Swim Camp “The Center For Swimming Excellence”

Masters Camp- June 11-June 14

Come experience one of the most innovative camps offered to Masters Swimmers!

Camp Content
  • You will have an opportunity to learn all of the techniques used by the University of Tennessee Swim Team, as well as, use the technology and equipment the UT collegiate and professional swimmers use.
  • The camp will offer sessions that focus both on physiology, as well as, technique, speed and power.
  • Coach Bill Boomer will be there to lead discussions, analyze stroke techniques and conduct Q and A sessions.
  • Dryland- strengthening, postural work and flexibility.
  • Saturday day evening dinner is included in the cost.

The Tennessee Speed Circuit (Sunday am)
  • This is 2 hour bonus session is a fast paced, speed-driven circuit that is fun, explosive and unique!
  • The circuit will include but isn’t limited to: Power Racks, Power Towers, Speed Cords, Dynamic Dryland Drills, IKKOS neural learning goggles, Live video analysis with a UT coach!

New and exciting Video Analysis
  • You will receive 12 videos (3 in each stroke) that have been analyzed by UT coaches.
  • These videos will include a performance in a specific stroke at an Age Group level (JO’s, Sectionals), a National level (Junior, Senior Nationals), and an International level (from an athlete ranked top 100 in the world).
  • In addition you will receive a video of each of your strokes that is voice-over, annotated by a member of the UT Swimming coaching staff.

This is an invaluable way to learn the subtle but important differences between each level of competitive swimming, and you will always have them to reference! These videos will be emailed to you immediately following the conclusion of camp.

Note: The University may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts or war, acts of God, or public health emergencies. Neither party shall be liable for damages for delay or default if such delay or default is caused by circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or health emergencies. The Parties will consult with other to determine if the event can be rescheduled. -- It is not permissible for boosters to provide expenses for individuals to attend any of the Tennessee Sports Camps. Expenses include but are not limited to, lodging meals, transportation, and/or camp tuition.
-- All of Tennessee Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
